Glenview, Illinois, holds a special place in the hearts of Kevin and Brittany. It's where they grew up, surrounded by friends and family, many of whom are still in their lives today. Little did they know that fate had a remarkable encounter planned for them just down the road.

Their paths first crossed in a photography class at Glenbrook South High School. Sitting across from one another and working on projects, their friendship grew. This connection deepened even further when Brittany became Kevin's tutor in American Sign Language (ASL). Kevin would wake up early and ensure he had Starbucks in hand when arriving for tutoring sessions in the library.

As graduation day approached, uncertainty loomed. Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, welcomed one, while the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana beckoned the other. Their love, however, knew no geographical boundaries. College brought new friends and new experiences. Yet, they remained each other's constant refrain, a familiar comfort in a sea of new faces.

Brittany and Kevin moved to Chicago after college to embark on exciting new adventures. They spent time living with friends before finally moving in together and making their apartment their home. Here, they created amazing memories, celebrated holidays with loved ones, and started their lives together. Life took another delightful turn with the arrival of their furry friend, George.

The suburbs beckoned next - a charming house with a backyard, a picture of domestic bliss. Through it all, Brittany and Kevin remained each other's rock, confidante, and best friend. Now, eleven years later, with George trotting by their side, they stand on the precipice of forever, ready to embark on the next chapter of their exceptional love story.

What was your most memorable date?

Our most memorable date has to be our first date together on June 9th 2013. We went to go see The Purge in theaters and then to Potbelly’s for dinner. We were on a high school budget but it was still perfect!

What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?

They've all been memorable!

-Going on a Viking river cruise down the Rhine river

-Backpacking Europe after graduation

-Roadtripping to all mighty 5 national parks in Utah

-Driving to California, getting COVID, and then turning around (def memorable)

-Spending 3 weeks in Greece

And many more!!!

What’s your favorite activity to do together?

-Ordering in pizza (our favorites are Salerno’s or Lou's) and watching a movie together

-We’ve also enjoyed working on our endless home renovation projects!
